$20 isn't that expensive, but Origin does have the occasional sale of TS3 content, if you'd prefer to wait and spend $10 instead. So if Origin is already managing your install, you might as well buy a digital copy of Generations. Additionally, it appears that some very new pack discs may also require Origin, although there have only been a rew reports so far. To be able to install and run your game without any Origin involvement, you'd not only need a disc copy of each pack, but you'd need a base game disc manufactured before September 2012 the newer ones require Origin to manage their installs. If your install is already controlled by Origin, then there's no point in having disc copies anyway. Amazon may also have sealed disc copies available. As far as new discs go, I've seen them on sale at Target, and they're also apparently still sold at Walmart, at least in the U.S.
